Slowcooker Braised Beef & Mash

Ingredients

  • Slowcooker
  • 3 fresh steaks
  • 1 diced onion
  • 3 diced carrots
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 300ml beef stock ( I use 1 Kallo organic beef stock cube)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Pan
  • 7-8 Peeled Medium Sized Potatoes

Method:

Add all the ingredients to the slowcooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Half an hour before the beef is cooked, boil your potatoes for 15-20 minutes. Once cooked through, mash thoroughly and add a dash of milk, salt & pepper to taste.

Serve immediately or save some for another time. This recipe creates 4 meals
